On the lucky date: 27th of March 2008, Kylie, Jared& Liam Barnes, Tahnee, Jordan and myself went to the JACK JOHNSON CONCERT at memorial drive.

All in all, it was awesome!!!!!! I couldnt possible say anything more to describe how good it was.

We were like 7 metres from the stage (cause we totally measured it :P lol) various other fans included Matty G, Micheal, Daniel, Hayley, Alex, Aaron, Casey etc etc....

Supporting acts were Matt Costa, Will Connor, G love!

EASTER Picnics

For Easter Sunday the Hargreaves clan went to the Botanical Gardens and had a beautiful Picnic. To my great disgust i lost all the photos i took grrrrr so i shall not be blogging any of it!

On Monday however Tarnz & i headed upto Mt Lofty with Aaron&Lane and we had yet another awesome Easter Picnic!

Temple Time

Tahnee& i had a great day out yesterday & thanks to it being Good Friday we were finally able to spend some quality time together.

We hit up the Gilligans place first where some delicious Easter cupcakes were being prepared mmmm & tarnz fed me my first 'bread pretzle' hmmm not sure if it was my thing :S

Afterwards we attended the Adelaide Temple- my first time! Tahnee&i & two others were the only ones there so it was a small but lovely session. We ran into Pres Parsons and his adorable wife sister Anne ( she was the best primary pres. ever!! hehe )

KFC was calling us for dinner, then we went round to Amy and Ryans place and visited with a friend from Sydney.

Might i say that i really admire Ryans sweet collection of explorer socks! haha

One of these things is not like the others....and your answer my friends would be- ME!

These days it aparently doesnt matter whether your an enrolled student or not so today... ..........i went to UNI! :D

I arose earlier than usual this morning :P & caught a lift into Adelaide where i attended Aarons accounting and economics lectures- i bet your thinking boring right? well....yeah i guess if i was actually studying the course i would be bored but it was heaps fun and i must admit i may have even learnt a thing or two! Everyone was oh so smart and focused on their courses which was great and yet i must confess that i appreciate the fact that i am not yet in the uni scene!

The library was amazing! I dont think i've ever seen quite so many books in all my life! The smell was absoloutly mesmorising- you know the one, leather, paper and peace :) i love it!

The uni building itself is pretty cool, some pretty old ones that are just huge in the eyes of a small town girl like me. We ran into Lane and a few other fellow friends, all in all there was ALOT of people buzzing around and you never saw the same person twice!

We hit a uni cafe for lunch, visited the Torens river and managed to kill an hour in between classes as we had a mix up with class times :P haha.
Thankyou to Aaron for saving me from cabin fever and guiding me around your school!

Weather update for today- Its drizzling lightly and the sun comes out every now and again.

Big City Lyfe,

Last night Mike and i checked out the big city life from various site seeing spots and as always the camera just doesnt do it justice so i wont put any on but the city just looked so beautiful!

We chowed down some food at the resturant 'Bravo'! My pasta dish rocked & for an entree size it was huge!

May i just add that the temperature here has dropped 12 degrees since our last 42 degree heat lol brrrrr.

Sunday 16th Amy and Ryan had their little baby girl Ayla blessed. she is absoloutly adorable! im pretty much her favourite person in the world already ;)

It was a beautiful blessing that was held here in the Hargreaves home. lots of Ryans family attended and Uncle Jon and Jared Barnes performed the blessing.

So since arriving in Adelaide exactly 3 wks ago i am throughly enjoying myself! Work is well, church is wonderful, the peeps are great and the weather, well...lets just hope it cools down sometime soon!!! So you may ask yourself, what has emily been doing these past 3 wks, i mean, apart from all the other stuff shes blogged haha...well let me show you!

- Tarnz & i heart attacked Nomz for her 16th hehe thats a figure of speech for u non mormons :)

- We hit the beach with the Barnes kids,mum&dad, Aunty Coll& Amy & Ryan. Dad swam amongst the dolphins :) why Tozzi buried me in the sand and Ryan got footage of Aylas first beach visit, the women paddled in the water and got sun tans.

-Working hard :P at Bauldys gas station and Kaffehaus cafe in Harndorf.

- All the Adelaidian Latter Day saints gathered for Elder Bednars fireside, soooo good!
